The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge, but imagination.

Educational Philosophy

Children approach life with a sincerity of purpose which most adults rarely experience in the course of their day. This sense of wonder and genuine excitement over that which is new prompts children to build towering skyscrapers out of wooden blocks, sketch forests full of purple trees and insist that a cardboard box is in fact a spacecraft hurtling through the cosmos!

Here at Christofer Bear Advanced Early Learning Center, it is our sincere belief that academic education and imaginative expression must feed one another in order to best nourish a rapidly developing mind. For this reason, we have developed a program which balances imaginative play, artistic expression and academic inquiry within a schedule which is at once consistent enough to provide students with a strong sense of continuity, and yet flexible enough to allow for prolonged inquiry into areas of individual or class interest.
